The winning residents in Lowton, from the postcode WA3 1LS, have claimed a £1,000 prize in the People’s Postcode Lottery draw today, Wednesday, June 25.
Each month, people can sign up with their postcode and pay £12.25 a month to be in with a chance of winning the draw.
Prizes are announced every day of the month, with £1,000 for 20 different postcodes a say – and a lucky few winning the jackpot of £30,000.
Each participant who lives in the area of Winwick Lane, Lowton, has won £1,000 from today’s draw.
This continues the recent lucky run for the area.
Last Friday residents of postcodes in Atherton and Lowton claimed £10,000 prizes, while on Monday, some residents in Astley enjoyed a £1,000 win.
Postcode Lottery supports a wide range of charities and causes across the UK and globally.
Around 33 per cent of each ticket helps support good causes, and Postcode Lottery has raised more than £1.3 billion for charity so far.
