Love Island’s first bombshell has been revealed to be a Las Vegas pool party waitress who looks after the VIP cabana huts at the Fontainebleau Resort
The first bombshell to shake up Love Island has been unveiled as a pool party waitress from Las Vegas.
Antonia (Toni) Laites, who caters to the high-rollers in the VIP cabana huts at the posh Fontainebleau Resort, is set to turn heads on the hit ITV2 show starting Monday (June 9).
Toni, 24, is the first American beauty to make history as the first Stateside star to strut into the villa, ready to stir things up as a bombshell.
Previously in her role as a Vegas party girl, Toni served up poolside glamour in Miami while studying Public Management at Florida Atlantic University, according to her LinkedIn. She’s been living it up in Vegas since last year.
Toni isn’t about to waste any time with making waves, diving into the villa on day one and likely causing quite the commotion from the off. Maya Jama dropped a hint about he explosive entrance with a cheeky voice note played on Love Island’s official Instagram.

The teaser was tantalisingly captioned: “A voice note from the first Bombshell? I’m listening,” reports the Mirror. Maya kicked off the clip with the iconic line: “Oh, I’ve got a text! I’ve been expecting this one.”
Then came the unmistakable twang of an American accent: “Hey Maya, I heard you want more twists. How about an American bombshell? Get ready, I’m on my way.”
The latest voice note didn’t reveal the sender’s identity but did confirm that Love Island UK is set to welcome its first-ever American contestant. Maya wrapped up the teaser with a hint of excitement: “Alright, there’s the sweet, sweet sounds of an American.”
Toni is not just looking for fame; she’s hoping to find Mr. Right and “start a family.” Some of her key requirements for finding the right person include being “outgoing, active, and can make her laugh.”
The Las Vegas waitress has not had too much luck on the American dating scene, describing it as “a mess,” which is why she is now looking for a British guy with “better manners”.
“I’ve lived in three different states, and I’m still single. It’s time to try something new! I have some British friends and they’re pretty charming. I think all Americans love a good accent. British men are just more polite, with better manners,” revealed Toni when speaking about her love life.
Toni did have a few things in mind that would put her off any budding romance, revealing: “Bad hygiene. Bad breath. Not getting haircuts. If we’re going on a date and you’re not dressed for the occasion… then that’s a bit of an ick!”
She’s hoping that a “dark-haired man, with muscles and a fresh haircut” will sweep her off her feet.
Love Island’s 2025 series will get underway on Monday, June 9, over on ITV2, at 9pm and can be streamed on ITVX.
