Grigor Dimitrov vs Sebastian Ofner prediction
Grigor Dimitrov continued his fine progress at Wimbledon as he defeated the dangerous Corentin Moutet in four sets. The Frenchman had momentum going into the event after beating Taylor Fritz at Queen’s Club and reaching the final of the Mallorca Championships, but Dimitrov edged clear in the vital moments to win 7-5 4-6 7-5 7-5. The Bulgarian had not played any grass court tennis after withdrawing from the first-round of Roland Garros due to injury but he’s made a strong return so far.
He will now face Sebastian Ofner after he caused an upset by defeating Tommy Paul in four sets. The Austrian made a slow start but recovered to win 1-6 7-5 6-4 7-5. He has now equalled his best result at the All England Club, which he last achieved in 2017. This was one of Ofner’s best results since making his return to the tour following a heel injury.
Dimitrov has been inconsistent this season but seems to have found form again after time away. Ofner has performed strongly to make the third-round but the Bulgarian should be getting through.
